Pike Perfection the next step in F3J from Samba
Some years have gone since we released the Pike Perfect.
It has been a fantastic success for pilots all over the world and we have yet to
see a design that will perform under such wide variety of conditions.
Now we are pushing the boundaries again.
AND it is available as electro version - HERE

1300g if you use light equipment (FAI type light equipment). This version is for F5J only.
Color design and rohacell/herex have impact on weight and reason for difference in weights.

NEW - Contest Eurotour F3J 2013
Very successful Eurotour F3J total for Tobias Lämmlein
and a lot of other Pike Perfection pilots.
Congratulations!!

After careful tweaking on the Pike Perfect and getting input of what is needed we have gone a path that has been tested and proven.

We released the Pike Precision with 2 piece wing and already it shows that we know how to build strong and light with that concept. The airfoil of the new model is a variation of what all know from the Perfect and the Perfect ET so you can be sure that all conditions are covered but with even more consideration on what is needed to do low altitude soaring after very short launches.

So what is the benefit of the new Pike Perfection?
The new planform ensures even better penetration and tighter circles than ever.

A new tail ensures extreme power in the elevator with even harder pings off launch and precise turnovers to hit those vital landing points. Lower positioned nose helps in the landings.

New shape and airfoils of the tail together with better cross section of the fuse ensures both better strength and lower drag and better penetration.

Fuses and wings are lighter because of the new planform but also new materials in the skin ensures that weight is coming down and centers in the model. This ensures improved circling and especially at low speeds. Tail parts is 1/2 compared to Perfect. Together with ailerons to the end of the tip you get an even more agile model.

Moulds are completely new and we can now use building techniques that was not possible with the old moulds. This ensures not only lighter and stronger parts but also better finish. Stiffness and resistance of parts is stronger thanks to new materials and high pressure production technology. Wing, fuselage, rudder and elevator are full carbon for all versions.

The following carbon materials is used in parts:
SPAR - highmodulus carbon roving Tenax UMS 40
WING - carbon fabric 68 g/m2
- carbon fabric 80 g/m2
- spread tow carbon fabricn Textreme 76 PW M30 SC
- spread tow 40 g/m2
FUSELAGE - highmodulus fiber Toray M 40J (2.4 friendly front section)

Weights for single carbon versions start on 1770g for SL version and up to +/-2000g.
Extreme version will be around 2200-2300g.
Ballast is located only in the wing with 2x24cm pieces of 16mm diameter = 820g.

Be sure this is not a Perfect copy but we have tried to keep the best and develop further. All pilots can be sure that they get the version they choose and all versions are available for everyone not only for competition pilots.

First models fly all over the world as you read and are already doing well in competitions. Look out for the fantastic new generation Pike's

Here is one of the first models on the ice spring of 2012
