Competition was guided by very difficult windy conditions that is rather often in Trnava. Jaroslav Vostřel with his PIKE Dynamic won with a big margin thanks to great ability to catch the thermal and return back to the landing point in strong gusty wind. Also the fact that 8 of 14 pilots was not able to return back and had zero result from one of the final flights shows that fly off was really difficult. It was a very interesting experience for many pilots as Trnava holds the first official f5j world championship in 2019
